Come on in!

Welcome — I’m glad you’re here.

This blog is a space where I write openly about life as a fat woman navigating the world. Here you’ll find honest reflections on body image, self-acceptance, personal growth, and the reality of living in a beautiful fat body.

Inside my world

Hi, I’m Kearris [Key-Air-Ris].

I created this space because I believe fat girls deserve places where our stories are told by us—honestly, unapologetically, and without shrinking ourselves for the comfort of others.

For most of my life, I’ve existed in a world that constantly tried to define what my body meant before I ever had the chance to speak for myself. Society has a lot to say about fat women—how we should look, how we should live, what we should want, and even how much space we’re allowed to take up. This blog is my refusal to live inside those limits.

Here, I write about life from my perspective as a fat woman navigating the world. That means talking about things that are sometimes joyful, sometimes messy, sometimes uncomfortable but always real. From body image and self-acceptance to relationships, healing, and personal growth. This space is about exploring what it means to exist fully in a body the world often intentionally misunderstands.

This blog isn’t just about struggle. It’s about liberation. It’s about softness, laughter, love, and learning to see ourselves outside of the narratives we were handed.

I’m also a writer and storyteller at heart. Words have always been the way I make sense of the world and the way I connect with people. Through this blog, I hope to create something that feels like community where fat girls can feel seen, heard, and celebrated.

If you’re here, I hope you find something that resonates with you.
A story that feels familiar.
A thought that challenges you.
Or maybe just a reminder that you are allowed to take up space exactly as you are.
